Why NFTs?

I began exploring the world of NFTs (Non-Fungible Tokens) in 2020, during a study on the environmental impact of blockchains. My goal was to find a platform that would allow me to create NFTs while minimizing their impact on the environment. I was also seeking a platform that would democratize the digital art market, giving more power to the community rather than a single dominant entity. It was during this research that I discovered Hic et Nunc (H=N, HEN), a platform based on the Tezos blockchain.

HEN distinguished itself by its ability to make NFT exchange accessible to all, without the high fees typically associated with other NFT platforms. This allowed everyone to participate and create their own NFT, thus democratizing the creation of NFTs.
It was in this context that I created my first NFT on April 10, 2021.

This served as a fine pretext for me to create new visual artistic projects and other digital works based on my music for real-time generative art on Web3. This has been an incredible experience for me, significantly stimulating my creativity. I dedicated about a year to designing exclusively NFT projects, which pushed me to develop software specifically designed for the creation of each NFT project. These software allow a live creative process, with real-time rendering.

Hic Et Nunc

Established by Rafael Lima and launched in March 2021, Hic Et Nunc (H=N, HEN) is an experimental open-source NFT platform that serves as a public smart contract infrastructure. Hic Et Nunc aims to decentralize the cryptographic art market, placing power in the hands of the community rather than a governing organization.

On the morning of November 12, 2021, the founder of Hic Et Nunc decided to shut down the site. However, within hours of the closure, forks of Hic Et Nunc were already back online. Subsequently, those involved in the hicathon, who regularly contributed to adding new features to Hic Et Nunc, regrouped and from the ashes of Hic Et Nunc, Teia emerged.

Today, Teia is an artist platform powered by the community and the Tezos Blockchain. You can find it at teia.art 
Teia can be considered a global space managed by artists, providing an experimental space with a focus on the arts. The most significant aspect of this is its decentralized nature and its focus on giving as many voices and as much power to the users as possible.

Though the majority of my NFTs are on Teia, I also use other platforms within the Tezos blockchain, such as objkt.com and a\terHEN

Pourquoi des NFTs?

J'ai commencé à explorer le monde des NFTs (Non-Fungible Tokens) en 2020, lors d'une étude sur l'impact environnemental des blockchains. Mon objectif était de trouver une plateforme qui me permettrait de créer des NFTs tout en minimisant leur impact sur l'environnement. Je cherchais également une plateforme qui démocratiserait le marché de l'art numérique, en donnant plus de pouvoir à la communauté plutôt qu'à une seule entité dominante. C'est au cours de cette recherche que j'ai découvert Hic et Nunc (H=N, HEN), une plateforme basée sur la blockchain Tezos.

HEN s'est distinguée par sa capacité à rendre l'échange de NFTs accessible à tous, sans les frais élevés généralement associés à d'autres plateformes NFT. Cela a permis à chacun de participer et de créer son propre NFTs, démocratisant ainsi la création de NFT.
C'est dans ce contexte que j'ai créé mon premier NFTs le 10 avril 2021.

Cela a été pour moi un bon prétexte pour créer de nouveaux projets artistiques visuels et d'autres œuvres numériques basées sur ma musique pour de l'art génératif en temps réel sur le Web3. Cela a été une expérience incroyable pour moi, stimulant ma créativité de manière significative. J'ai consacré environ un an à la conception de projets exclusivement NFT, ce qui m'a poussé à développer des logiciels spécifiquement conçus pour la création de chaque projet NFT. Ces logiciels permettent un processus créatif en direct, avec un rendu en temps réel.


Hic Et Nunc

Cependant, quelques heures seulement après la fermeture, des versions dérivées de Hic Et Nunc étaient déjà de nouveau en ligne. Par la suite, ceux qui étaient impliqués dans le hicathon, qui contribuaient régulièrement à l'ajout de nouvelles fonctionnalités à Hic Et Nunc, se sont regroupés et de leurs efforts est née à partir des cendres de Hic Et Nunc, Teia,
